Leave, end of service and appraisals — under Saudi labour law

Completes the missing half of the staff domain — the part Oracle and Odoo sell to chains. Profiles, documents, training, attendance, scheduling and commissions already existed; this adds leave management under KSA labour law, an end-of-service calculator (Articles 84 and 85), appraisal cycles, onboarding checklists and automated document-expiry alerts.

From the Enterprise plan up

What this covers

  • Leave — a per-store KSA leave-type catalogue, seeded on first use
  • Per-year leave balances, and a request → approve / reject / cancel flow
  • The flow enforces overlap, seniority-scaled entitlement, sick-leave tiered pay percentages and hajj eligibility — all as translated refusals
  • End of service — a calculator returning the full Article 84 component breakdown and the Article 85 resignation fraction
  • The calculator stores nothing; a settlement row is written only when a manager explicitly saves one
  • Document expiry — a daily sweep alerting owners and managers at 60, 30 and 7 days, deduped so a threshold fires once per expiry date
  • An expiring-documents feed with severity chips
  • Appraisals — cycles carrying a weighted criteria sheet, with bulk creation for active staff
  • Score submission with a server-computed weighted total, employee acknowledgment, and a cycle summary report
  • Onboarding — checklist templates, a snapshot on assign, per-item check-off, and completion when every required item is done
