What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
Who we are, and what this covers
Wameed POS is a point-of-sale system for retail and restaurants in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This policy covers this website (wameedpos.com) and what we collect about you as a visitor to it or as someone who submits an enquiry through it.
Running the system inside your shop is governed by the service agreement signed with your business, not by this page. The data your shop processes about its own customers belongs to your shop; we process it on its behalf.
What we collect
What you send us
When you fill in a form on this site — a demo request, a consultation, a hardware quote, a shop registration, a partnership enquiry or a newsletter sign-up — we keep what you wrote: your name, your business name, your mobile number, your email, the options you chose and the text of your message.
What we record about your visit
We record visits to this site so we know which pages are useful and which are not: the pages you opened, how long you spent on each, where you arrived from (a search engine, a campaign link, a QR code), your device type, operating system, browser and screen size, your browser language and timezone, and your IP address.
The support chat
If you open the chat, we keep the messages exchanged with our team, along with your name and email if you entered them.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your card details. Customer payments go through the payment gateway straight into the shop's own merchant account; they never pass through our servers.
- We do not sell your data. Not to an advertiser, not to a data broker, not to anyone.
- We do not track you if you ask us not to. If your browser sends a Do-Not-Track signal, we collect nothing about your visit and store no identifier at all.

How long we keep it
- Form submissions: up to 24 months from our last contact, then deleted.
- Visit data: up to 14 months, then aggregated into statistics that identify nobody.
- Support chats: up to 12 months after the conversation closes.
- Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe.
Who sees it
Our sales and support team, and only as far as their work requires. We use service providers to run the site, email and hosting — they process data on our behalf and on our instructions, and never for their own purposes.
We may disclose data where a Saudi law or a competent authority requires it.
Your rights
Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, you may:
- Know what we hold about you.
- Get a copy of it.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete it — there isa page for exactly that.
- Withdraw consent to the newsletter or marketing contact at any time.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Cookies and local storage
We use no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. We do use:
- Local storage in your browser for an anonymous visit identifier, to remember your chosen language, and to keep your chat open across pages.
- One cookie recording the language you chose, so an old link brings you to the right one.
You can clear these from your browser settings at any time; the site keeps working.
Children
This site is aimed at business owners. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under eighteen.
Changes to this policy
When we change something substantive we update the date at the top of the page. Cosmetic changes do not move the date.
