Staff & shifts

From their first day to their hours, commissions and documents

The whole life of a shop employee: onboarding, daily attendance, shift scheduling, commissions, documents and training. Access control comes from Roles & permissions; the working session comes from the till.

What this covers

  • Staff profiles — name, photo, contact, national ID, hire date, employment and salary type, hourly rate and status
  • Clock in and out with breaks — by PIN, NFC badge or biometric; break minutes are deducted from hours worked
  • Shift scheduling with templates and per-staff schedules, with overlap detection
  • Attendance reporting — scheduled against actual, overtime, and a CSV/Excel payroll export
  • Commissions — flat percentage, tiered or per item; per staff member or store-wide
  • Multi-branch — a staff member can work several branches, with a role in each
  • Documents — contracts, visas and certificates, with expiry tracking
  • Training mode — sandbox sessions recorded against the staff member
  • An activity log — every till action attributed to the person who performed it
  • An offline roster snapshot (with PIN hashes) so the terminal can identify a staff member without a connection
  • Field staff — a mini staff role, one-phone device binding, a per-store geofence, login and clock-in location tracking, a blocked-attempt audit and a detailed Excel export
