Till customisation

The owner sets the look; each terminal keeps its own preferences

The owner customises how the till looks and behaves; each cashier and terminal keeps its own local preferences. Store-level settings live in the cloud and sync to every device; per-terminal settings — sounds, screen lock — stay on the machine.

What this covers

  • Theme: light, dark or custom, with primary, secondary and accent colours
  • Font scale from 0.8 to 1.5 without the layout breaking
  • Handedness — left, right or centre — so a left-handed cashier is not fighting the screen
  • A 2-to-6 column product grid, with images and prices shown or hidden
  • Cart display, compact or detailed
  • Layout direction — right-to-left, left-to-right, or following the language
  • Receipt template — logo, two header lines, a footer, VAT/loyalty/barcode toggles, 58 or 80 mm paper
  • A quick-access button grid the owner arranges
  • Per terminal: a local light/dark override, and the scan beep, payment chime and error sound
  • Per terminal: a screen-lock timeout and a 4-to-6 digit lock PIN, salted and hashed in secure storage
