Genuine right-to-left Arabic — not a translation bolted onto an English interface
Makes the till fully usable in Arabic (the primary language) and English, with proper right-to-left layout handling, locale-correct number and date formatting, and defaults appropriate to the Saudi and Omani markets.
What this covers
- Two complete languages — Arabic and English for every interface string
- Layout direction follows the language automatically; Arabic is right-to-left
- A per-user language preference — each staff member picks their own, and the till switches on login
- Currency formatting — SAR with two decimals and OMR with three, each correct for its locale
- Date and time formatting — Gregorian and Hijri calendars, in a locale-appropriate format
- Receipt language — bilingual (Arabic and English) or a single language
- Dynamic string loading — translations can be updated by sync without rebuilding the app
- Arabic and English keyboard input, with a language toggle
- The number pad always uses Western 0–9 digits for data entry, whatever the interface language
