Drive-thru

The car is the unit of work — and every stage is on the clock

Turns a fast-food lane into a tracked queue. A car is the unit of work: it arrives at the order point, the cashier rings its sale on the normal till, the kitchen cooks it through the same display, and it is handed over at the window — with every stage timed against per-lane targets and reported afterwards.

From the Enterprise plan up

What this covers

  • Lane and order-point management — any number of lanes per store, each with its own ordered stations (speaker → window 1 → window 2) and its own speed-of-service targets
  • Order recall by car position — a live board listing active cars in queue order, with a plate hint, a colour dot and the linked order number
  • Car lifecycle: at order point → ordered → preparing → at window → delivered, with abandoned available from any active state
  • Linking the sale to the car is what ties the money to the car, and promotes it out of the order point
  • Speed-of-service timers — live per-stage elapsed time with over-target highlighting, computed on the server’s clock rather than a device’s
  • SOS reporting — average, median and 90th percentile per stage, cars served and abandon rate, broken down per lane and per hour of the day
  • Kitchen display integration — the ticket carries the lane and the car’s position
  • An order-ready feed — a lightweight endpoint a customer display or signage screen polls
