Camera scanning

Start selling on your own phone — before you buy any hardware

Lets any phone or tablet cashier — and the Landi C20 Pro’s built-in camera — scan product barcodes without a hardware scanner. It completes the scanner triad: USB/Bluetooth keyboard-wedge, Zebra/Honeywell PDA, and now the device camera, all delivering codes through the same downstream handler.

Free on every plan

What this covers

  • Single-shot scan — a full-screen scanner that resolves on the first valid detection (till lookup, goods-receipt line, product-form barcode fill)
  • Continuous counting mode — keeps scanning with a 1.5-second per-code cooldown, a running count, the last-scanned chip and a Done button (for stocktakes)
  • A clear viewfinder — a dark scrim with a cutout and corner brackets, a torch toggle, a front/back camera flip and localised instructions
  • A manual-entry fallback — a typed code returns through the exact same path as a camera detection, so a damaged label is never a dead end
  • Permission handling — a denial renders a localised explanation with an “Open settings” shortcut
  • Graceful degradation — every entry-point button hides itself where camera scanning is unsupported (desktop, web)

Camera scanning is deliberately free on every plan. It is what lets a new merchant install Wameed on their own phone and actually sell before buying any hardware — gating it would tax exactly the first session it exists to unlock.
