Foodics vs Rewaa: hospitality against retail, compared honestly
Two strong Saudi platforms that are rarely the same choice. Foodics is built for restaurants, Rewaa for shops with stock. Here is the comparison — and where a third option beats both.

This is the comparison Saudi merchants search for when they are between two domestic-market leaders. We build a competitor to both, so read this with that in mind — and check the audit rows yourself.
Audit date: August 2026, researched from public sources.
They are not competing for the same shop
Foodics is a hospitality platform: table management, kitchen display, delivery zones and dispatch, multi-brand, kiosks, white-label online ordering, an extensive app marketplace.
Rewaa is a retail platform: deep inventory, supply chain with purchase orders and goods receipt, a hardware bundle on a two-year plan, loyalty, digital receipts, a payment solution.
If you run a restaurant, Foodics wins this comparison. If you run a shop with stock and no food service, Rewaa wins it. Most searches for this comparison come from someone who is somewhere in between.

| Table management | Yes | No |
| Kitchen display | Yes | No |
| Split checks | Yes | No |
| Supply chain (PO, receipt) | No | Yes |
| Delivery aggregators | Yes | No |
| Delivery zones / dispatch | Yes | No |
| Multi-brand | Yes | No |
| Self-service kiosk | Yes | No |

| Payment solution (KSA) | Yes | Yes |

Two rows are worth pausing on.
Supply chain. Foodics does not have purchase orders and goods receipt. For a restaurant with a single supplier delivery a week this is survivable; for one with a commissary and multiple suppliers it is a real gap, and it surprises people who assumed a hospitality platform would handle purchasing.
Offline. Foodics is offline-capable and Rewaa is not, per the audit. For a shop on an unreliable connection, that single row can outweigh everything else in the table.
Where the in-between merchant gets stuck
The common case: a bakery, a coffee shop with a retail shelf, a juice bar with packaged goods, a pharmacy with a small counter service. These needboth column sets — inventory depthand food-service workflow — and neither platform has both.
That is the gap Wameed is built for: floor plan, zones, timers, KDS with station routing, course firing and split checks on one side; variants, multi-warehouse, purchase orders, goods receipt, transfers, stock counts and supplier returns on the other; plus offline with on-device ZATCA signing, ten aggregator integrations, and industry modes for pharmacy, jewellery, electronics, florist and bakery — at SAR 200 / 349 / 699.
To be equally clear about what we do not have: no kiosk, no multi-brand, no white-label ordering, no delivery zones or own-fleet dispatch, no extensive marketplace. Foodics has all five.
How to decide between the two
- Is more than 20% of your revenue food prepared to order? If yes, you need hospitality workflow. Rewaa cannot give it to you.
- Do you raise purchase orders? If yes, Foodics cannot give you that.
- Do both apply? Then neither is a complete fit, and you should look at a third option.
- Is your internet reliable? If not, Rewaa's lack of offline mode is decisive.
The test that settles it
Take your three most complicated transactions — the group that splits a bill, the delivery order with modifiers, the supplier delivery that arrives short — and ask each vendor to do all three in the demo.
